The third quarter of 2025 saw some interesting trends in the free-to-play gaming sector in Algeria. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, highlights the performance of the top five apps across both iOS and Android platforms.

Free Fire x NARUTO SHIPPUDEN by Garena International experienced a peak in weekly revenue around early August, reaching approximately $4.5K. Downloads showed a significant increase mid-quarter, peaking at about 257K in late July. However, weekly active users saw a decline from around 4.5M to 3.4M by the end of September.

Subway Surfers from Sybo Games maintained a steady download rate, with a notable surge to 242K in mid-August. Despite modest revenue peaks, active users slightly decreased from 2.8M to 2.5M over the quarter.

Royal Match by Dream Games saw weekly revenue fluctuate, with the highest being around $900 at the start of the quarter. Downloads dropped dramatically from 250K in early August to just over 5K by the end of September. Active users also declined significantly from 800K to around 370K.
